Iris, tackle!

[One might be expecting to see Ferris up against a Gym Leader or even a wild Pokémon... but nope. Instead, there's a Skitty tackling a Gyarados, because no matter how awesome Gyarados might be, Iris is still a higher level, thank you.

So yes. There's a Skitty tackling the stuffing out of the poor Gyarados who, to be honest, has done absolutely nothing to deserve this.

But Ferris isn't recording this to show everyone what a wonderful trainer she is. Rather—]

It seems that Ryner has... changed form. A pity; I preferred his previous form.

[Yes, she liked him better when it was a useless, flopping fish. Also, ignore the Skitty continuing to, er, play with the Gyarados in the background.]

In any case, his name is now unfitting, and so a name change is required immediately. So tell me, Johto: what name would be appropriate for this creature?

[... No, she's not really going to change its name, but mandatory tsun towards Ryner is mandatory.]

[Here, Johto: have a close up shot of a Magikarp flopping on the ground.

Flop flop flop—wait, the camera's backing up now, albeit shakily, before it moves upward to show one Ferris sitting on a bench somewhere, munching on some dango. Next to her is a plate that may or may not have a small mountain of dango piled on top of it... and an equally sized mountain of dango sticks. Eating that much dango is totally healthy, what are you talking about.]

For those who were concerned, I've managed to get my hands on some dango, so hopefully, the dango god has been appeased. Just in case though, I believe I should make up for the lost time.

[This is serious business, okay. A pause, before she looks down.]

Oh, and is this how catching Pokémon is supposed to work? That wasn't much of a challenge at all. It didn't even put up a fight against Iris.

[That may be because it's a Magikarp but details, details.]

It seems to be a rather useless creature, to be honest. However, in memory of my partner who isn't here, I've decided to keep it and name it after him. There's quite a resemblance between the two.

[The camera moves down, showing the still-flopping Magikarp.]
