And then the 'gear is clattered onto the floor, until it finally stops to give a clear view of the newly born Spiritomb, sitting there innocently in all its ghosty/darky glory.

... Ferris is strangely absent, though.

There's another sound from Iris, as she picks up the 'gear—and oh, there's Ferris.

... Pressed up against the corner of the ceiling. Don't ask. Either way, she's just staring at the Spiritomb, looking just a bit tense.]

This—This can't be possible... How could it have come from that—?

[On the one hand, he's kind of used to the whole "unexpected things coming from eggs" thing by now, considering all of the ones he's handled. Pokémon make eggs. There are ghost Pokémon, even though this fact is occasionally rather troublesome. So a ghost hatching from it? Not really all that surprising.

But then, his reaction doesn't matter as much as hers...]
